A new route for our popular ‘Every Barn Tells A Story’ Walk, giving a great opportunity to learn about Upper Swaledale’s iconic field barns and their part in the history of agriculture in the Dale. Starting off from Muker the walk will proceed to Rampsholme Bridge, taking in the nearby YDNP restored barn, before proceeding through hay meadows to Calvert’s Houses. The return to Rampsholme and Muker by the top road gives great views across this beautiful part of Swaledale.
