Join local mountaineer Alan Hinkes, OBE for an impressive illustrated talk. Alan is the first British mountaineer to climb all 14 of the Himalayan and Karakoram 8000 metre summits, including Everest. Only 12 individuals alive have achieved this feat - the same number who have stood on the moon! Alan will also talk about the climbing, mountaineering and caving heritage of the Upper Dales.

The event will take place in Keld Public Hall.
