Join John Turner on a walk to explore the history behind the many barns in Upper Swaledale, which formed part of a self-sustaining farming system. The walk covers meadows, pastures, open fellsides and includes the story of a haunted cow-house!
This walk is organised by Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority. Cost: £3. Booking advisable via Hawes National Park Centre (tel: 01969 666210 or email hawes@yorkshiredales.org.uk).
