Guided walk through the rich mining landscape of Upper Swaledale, visiting the Old Field Hush, Crackpot Hall and Swinnergill mines, and the fantastically well-preserved Low Plate dressing floor complex. The walk will include an overview of the history of lead mining in Swaledale, the mining process and details of the 1770 Pomfret/Parkes mining dispute.
