Join us for this pleasant, gentle guided walk through the meadows to the confluence of Birkdale and Sleddale becks - the official source of the River Swale. The walk is led by experienced volunteer David Pemberton and starts and finishes from the Hoggarths Bridge parking area outside Keld on the B6270 towards Kirkby Stephen.
There will be the option to cross the beck (if not in spate) to view the Lane End lead mines - please wear Wellington boots if you wish to do this!
Dogs welcome but should be kept on a lead at all times.
