Neil Hanson, author, after dinner speaker, manager of (1970s) and later owner of the Tan Hill Inn (1980s) talks of the highs and the lows, the laughter, the blood, sweat (or should I say shivers) and tears that came with running the highest pub in England. Come and share his experiences and stories of the characters he met and the life-long friends he made. Also a chance to see the BBC film 'A Foot or Two Above the Rest' about the inn, the day the Hansons moved in as owners, the 1984 sheep show and the famous 1985 Everest advert. All profits to the Keld project. A must for your diary.
