Guided walk with experienced volunteer, David Pemberton.  Walk in the footsteps of the lead miners to Swinner Gill via Crackpot Hall.  Lunch stop (please bring own packed lunch) by the remains of the lead mining buildings.  If weather permits an options to visit Swinner Gill Kirk - waterfall & cave and site of non-conformist worship.  Return via private bridge across the Swale and an optional scramble down to Kisdon Force lower falls (with thanks to the Gunnerside Estate).  Sorry no children.  Dogs welcome but won't be able to visit Swinner Gill Kirk unless carried and must be kept on a short lead through the Gunnerside Estate.
