Our third full day of activities looks at the beautiful Upper Swaledale landscape, and includes a guided walk to the famous Keld waterfalls led by Keld Resource Centre volunteer Griff Fellows (author of The Waterfalls of England) starting at 1.00.
Our festival continues with a day dedicated to the history of Keld and Upper Swaledale. You can visit our special 'Keld Resource Centre - Past, Present and Future' exhibition, and take part in a guided walk 'Beldi Hill Lead Mining Circular' led by Keld Resource Centre Trustee Helen Guy starting at 1.00.
Our festival opens with the official opening of the Upper Room events space, followed by a nature themed day. This includes a nature themed walk - 'Birds of Upper Swaledale' - led by Keld Resource Centre's Honorary President, Rev. David Peel starting at 1.00
