Join our guided walk through the rich mining landscape of Upper Swaledale, visiting the Old Field Hush, Crackpot Hall and Swinnergill mines/smelt mill, and the fantastically well-preserved (private land) Low Plate dressing floor complex. The walk will include an overview of the history of lead mining in Swaledale and the mining process.
