As the evenings draw in, bring some light into your life with a felt lampshade making course. Join Louise Curnin at our picturesque and inspirational venue and spend the morning learning to coax sheep's wool and other exotic fibres into fabric, using only soap and water, imagination and a little elbow grease. After lunch you will then turn your handmade wool fabric into a lampshade. You will leave the workshop with a working, finished lamp 15cm in diameter and approximately 35cm tall (6"x 14").
Please bring a packed lunch. Hot drinks and cakes will be served throughout the day.
All materials and a wooden lamp base will be provided and are included in the workshop price.
