Our Heritage Open Days event for 2017
Distinguished historian and engaging speaker Dr Duncan Bythell adds another chapter to his history of Keld with this study of Keld Congregational Chapel. Newly researched and presented for the first time at this lecture, Dr Bythell tells the story of the chapel and its people from its beginnings in 1789, paying particular attention to its heyday in the mid 19th Century, and its changing life in the 20th Century.
The lecture, in Keld Chapel, is sponsored by Keld Resource Centre, and is free of charge, but donations to the Chapel and the Keld Resource Centre charity will be welcome.
Advance booking advised.
